Chrissy Teigen is the last celebrity to celebrate the presidential inauguration in 2021 in A. Monochrome look.
After former first lady Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush attended the historic day’s party in various shades of purple, Teigen shared photos on Instagram of walking out in DC looking all-red.
Her collection included a vibrant red coat, which she wore with a stylish black clutch. On her feet, Teigen picks a pair of Bottega Veneta’s fiery heel sandals. Called Stretch Sandal, this shoe features an open mesh design with a large square toe and a sculpted heel. The shoe is finished with a leather sole. The Teigen pair is currently retailing for $ 930 at Nordstrom.com.
In one of the photos, Teigen is seen kissing her husband John Legend at the Lincoln Memorial. For the occasion, Legend chose a camel coat, teamed with a black scarf, black pants, and brown boots.
Teigen’s moment in full red came after she recorded her arrival in Washington with a visit to the Washington Monument Tuesday night. There, the author of “Cravings” honored the lives of 400,000 people killed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That evening, Teigen chose a dark gray trench coat, which she wore with a silk dress. As for the shoes, Teigen has worn thigh-high boots – which are a great way to look a model.
In addition to enjoying the historic events of the day, Legend will also participate in the festivities.
Later in the evening, a prime-time special titled “Celebrating America” will spotlight the American heroes and be held at 8:30 PM ET. Tom Hanks will host the 90-minute show featuring Biden and Harris’ words. It will also appear as The Legend, Bruce Springsteen, VO Fighter’s, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington.
“Celebrating America” will be broadcast live on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and MSNBC. It will also be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Twitch.
