Archie speaks on the Megan and Harry Podcast

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (also known as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex) released their first Podcast Tuesday, a special holiday featuring a variety of notable guests and a special apparition of their one-year-old son Archie.

Archie appears at the end of the episode and, with his parents’ encouragement, he wishes the listeners a Happy New Year.

The Duke and Duchess – who introduce themselves as “Harry” and “Megan” – hosted the first episode of their Spotify’s exclusive Archewell Audio.

The special holiday features a “special group of inspiration, reflection and perspective” of 13 guests that Sussex describes as “people who inspire us.” [and] People we admire. It’s a very diverse list that includes Sir Elton John, Deepak Chopra, tennis player Naomi Osaka, Chef Jose Andres, author Matt Haig, producer Tyler Perry, Professor Brian Brown, and voting rights activist Stacy Abrams.

“We asked them to record a voice memo and send it to us,” Harry said. “We were just curious to hear what they might think when they spend a moment with themselves without hopping into the awkward dance sometimes for a video chat. Meaning, nobody has to say, ‘You’re silent’ over and over again, which is probably one of the hallmarks of 2020.

The Archie podcast appearance marked the third time the Sussex family has shared their son with the public in 2020.

They released the family recently Christmas card, Which features an illustration of Harry and Megan with Archie and their dogs, and in May, they released a Video From Meghan’s reading of Archie – full name Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor – to celebrate his first birthday.

Harry and Meghan are strictly protecting their son’s privacy. The couple recently won a lawsuit Photographer who photographed Archie at their California home via a drone.
